Season Reports

T’was the night before season…

So it has finally come! I am roughly 10 hours away from the 2014 archery opener here in MT. I have pounded more ground in the past 9 months than I ever have. But I have some very respectable whities located and some good elk as well. Tomorrow morning I am going to a spot I have been watching while antelope hunting the past few weeks. Based off of my glassing I have a very good shot at harvesting a P&Y Whitie and a P&Y antelope. As of Monday the Whities were still in full velvet so I am crossing my fingers that I get a crack at one in full velvet. I have a few last minute items to prepare then I need to get to bed so I can catch a few hours of sleep. It isn't too often I am this excited to wake up at 3:00AM. Good luck to all who are able to hit the woods right now.
