The Best Turkey Recipe

I know their are tons of ways to get this springs gobbler and even more dvd’s out there to show you how to get one. But none with a great recipe’s on how to get that thunder chicken to the table.
A long while back I was filming a TV show for Scent-Lok, we were doing a spring turkey hunting show with Preston Pittmen (world Turkey calling champion). After the hunt we headed to one of the guys house and Preston fixed up the Turkey we shot that morning on the grill. I gotta tell ya that was the best bird I have ever had! Preston gave me the recipe and I still use it today! So if you want to impress your buddies here is the recipe.

1 part Teriyaki
1 part Worcestershire
1 part Vinegar
1 tble. spoon dry mustard powder
A little Black Pepper

Cut your Turkey breast in small strips

Mix all together and pour in a zip lock bag, place your Turkey strips in and let stand for 3 hours.
Grill over high heat, it doesn’t take long so keep a sharp eye out, I like mine a little crispy on the edges!
Next, have your hunting buddies over, those that did not get one and you will be the envy of all!!

I’ve cooked wild turkey a bunch of ways, and none really were that good. This sounds like a Teriyaki venison recipe that I love. I’ll be sure to give it a try.
