Prairie Practice

Heading out to hunt mule deer on the wide open Dakota prairies incorporates spot and stalk tactics. After a careful stalk through knee high grass to get within bow range, standing up to take a shot would not be a good idea. Sitting down and kneeling are the shots most commonly taken so practicing them on the range will prepare you for what you’ll encounter out on the prairies.
