I just happened upon this little newborn whitetail doe fawn as I was riding my quad putting out some more mineral. In the tall grass I didn’t see her until it was (maybe) too late…I thought I ran her over, so I picked her up to check her out better. After several minutes, she appeared well enough to not call any vet or DNR or something, so I let her go and she scampered, wobbly legged back into the woods blattin’ for her mom! Pretty neat…hoping she’s okay. I’m hoping I mistook her wobbliness for her newness in life instead of me running her over…
