Season Reports

Lake Erie Walleye report

With fall hunting season still months away their is plenty of activities to keep us busy, like Walleye Fishing!

I have gone out and got my Captains license and now running charters on lake Erie, the Walleye capital. So let me fill you all in on how the fishing has been, the weather has kept us off the water for the past few weeks. Seems like every weekend their is a front that moves thru and forces me to cancel. But when we have gotten out the fishing has been great with extremely large fish being caught! We mainly jig for fish this time of year but we will target big fish by trolling stick baits, you don't get many but when you do they are giant. We are fishing out of Oak Harbor Ohio, near Port Clinton, the boat is stationed at Fenwick Marina so if any of you are looking for some summer fun for the hole family just give me a call.

And remember, keep scouting for that giant Buck for this fall, spring time is one of the best times to look for old sign. Old sign will tell you where to hang that stand for next fall without spooking Deer.
