| Back in October I got permission on a new spot. I was so busy hunting some other bucks I knew of I never got the chance to really give this spot a chance. About two or three weeks ago I finally went and scouted the whole property. It looked really good and the land owner said it has not been hunted in three years because his friend had moved out of state that use to hunt it. So I put down 200 pounds of corn and a trail camera and left it alone until today. Well I was happily surprised at what was on the camera. Looks to be a four year old buck with a big split g2 on one side. He has been coming in alot and during daylight hours. I nick named him Mulie because of the g2 reminded me of a mule deer. So I trimmed out a couple shooting lanes and put down another 200 pounds of corn be back in a day or two and hopefully end my season. |
