Thought I was going to have nothing to report today… Was a long, slow sit. I saw nothing until the last 10 or 15 minutes of light when a big bellied bear snuck in from behind me. It was dead calm tonight. It hit my wind/scent pool at 10 yards to my left and froze for a few minutes… Acted like a smart old bear 🙂 when I saw a good belly on it I deemed it big enough. I stood, drew and shot as it turned to leave. It ran 30 yards and died. Turns out to be a plump, dry sow weighing in at 202. Pics tomorrow, sleep now 🙂
