The toms have been quiet for the last couple weeks, shutting up shortly after flydown at dawn. This one came in with 5 hens and a jake from 250 yards out and none of those birds ever made any vocalizations after leaving the roost 1/2 hour prior to paying me a visit. Good luck in the woods everyone!
