Hunters in the lower peninsula of Michigan will once again be able to bait deer, as of yesterday’s decision by the Michigan DNR to lift the 3 year ban that had been in place. Many will start baiting in defense of neighbors that surely will. It can be extremely effective if done properly, but can be a huge, lazy crutch for those not willing to scout and actually hunt. One positive is I can at least put out mineral for the deer now to help with their racks. I’m curious what everyone else thinks about this.
