April showers bring…turkeys!
Rain and snow persisted throughout my short turkey season. Good rain gear and waterproof footwear was a must these past few days while chasing longbeards. My season was mercifully short after hammering this gobbler the second morning into my season. After the winter we’ve endured, turkey hunting all day in the rain and snow got old fast so dropping this tom had the added benefit of getting out of the elements.
Spring Turkey hunting is excellent!
