Things never seem to slow down for me even in the winter, there is always something to do or somewhere to go, not to mention the weather complications from the snow and cold. Because my time is very limited, I spend a good number of hours each year Google Earth. For me it’s the next best thing to setting foot on the ground. Being that I hunt a fair amount of public land, I’ll study the terrain features here carefully to narrow down my selection to where I’ll wear out some boot leather once the weather and time are more favorable to get out. If you cannot get out to a new area now, give some online scouting a shot!
