Got back home safely to the family last night. It was a fun hunt overall, and I really enjoyed myself. I hunted public land and had Mike Foss from Northern Wisconsin Outfitters do the baiting for me. Mike runs a great camp and I had a blast meeting a bunch of new people. I met Mike several years ago while selling our hunting videos at a tradeshow in Minnesota and had looked forward to being a part of his camp for a long time. It’s a shame it’ll take many more years before I get to return! Out of 20 hunters, 12 had shot bears when I left, including a 405 pound tank and a few more over 300 lbs.
The bear I shot weighed 202 pounds and should taste great!
