Hi Jim! I too have been chemical free with my plots for a few years now. We do get asked a lot about the use of them, especially Skip because he farms so much ground. So it’s good to know which ones do what, etc. I would be ecstatic if you’d like to write an article(s) about organic food plotting for our site here, and I’d be happy to publish them and promote them. I agree they are the best scenario.

Would one of you care to share some specifics on doing this?
    – Specific time of year to start?
    – Type(s) of maple trees?
    – Boiling process: how long, what’s involved, etc.

Been wanting to try this myself one of these years. I have several maples on my back 20.

Enjoy the new challenges Leon! I may have to delve into that too one of these years…although my wear and tear from baseball on the shoulders might make me stick with the wheeled versions. My new challenges are in taking my kids out ;o)

I’ll be sending out a global email to all users with a link to reset their passwords. Unfortunately, I couldn’t carry over passwords from the old forum. You can make them the same or different but reset is unfortunately required.

thought I’d bump this post 8)

Have some summer sausage in the smoker tonight.

Rancid, does it matter if you hang them in the smoker or lay them on racks?
