Damage Control

If you’ve never gone coyote hunting this is the time to start. With deep snow coating the landscape in much of the Northern US this year coyotes have the perfect scenario to bring down lots of deer. Being late winter, under these conditions deer are vulnerable to predation and starvation. It’s a tough time to be a deer, let’s help them out by reducing the high predator numbers they deal with.

I hear you guys! A lot of snow and a real cold winter here in MN. Also looking forward to shed hunting soon as some of this snow is gone!

It would be interesting to keep a log of the coyote harvest in relation to the number of fawns you see come late summer on your place.
